Responsible for conducting financial review activities including coordinating with various business/ function teams for readiness, performing financial review activities, identification of non-compliances with group control framework & accounting policies, provide suggestions for improvement and effective risk management with the objective of enhancing controls and compliance processes of the company
Financial Controllership
● Review and analysis of the country level financials with special focus on compliance to group finance policies and IFRS
● Perform detailed financial reviews as per defined process and guidelines including identifying & defining issues and reviewing & analyzing evidence
● Record observations & management response for each observation and monitor the action plans to closure
● Review GAAP / non GAAP differences in the local statutory financials and group submissions
● Identify opportunities for process improvement to enhance the control environment
Financial Reporting & Analysis
● Liaise with the business teams to support various monthly & quarterly central reporting & control requirements
● Support the month-end close & other accounting activities of regional HQ entities
● Coordinate with external auditors on various regional reporting requirements
● Support key regional initiatives
Relevant Experience
● Minimum 5 -8 years of post- qualification experience in reporting & controllership role
● Demonstrated ability in planning/improvement of financial controls
● Open to travel & working in flexible
